I'll start this off again....

"You may be only one person in the entire world, but if you're really lucky you might be the entire world to one person."

.....now, follow this example, and please keep it nice.

Do as you please in life as long as you do no harm to yourself and/or others......At this stage of my life I have learnt that three things happen. The first is that your memory becomes unreliable......and the other two are........I can't remember!

You see someone breaking into the
neighbors house.
What goes through your mind?
Is your house next?
Will the police get there before
your house is next?
Should you hide in the closet or ?

Someone in the media needs help with
their math.

Hypothetically,
lets say your yearly salary is 100,000.oo
your total income tax rate is 35%.
Your total income tax would be 35,000.oo
leaving you 65,000.oo
Now lets say you are wealthy enough that you
no longer need your salary to live off of.
So you take your 65,000.oo and buy stock.
One year later the stock price has doubled so you sell your stock.
You have just made a capital gain of 65,000.oo taxed at a rate of 15%
The tax you owe on your sale of stock is 9,750.oo
Your salary is still 100,000.oo so you owe 35,000.oo tax on your salary.
Your total income for the year is 165,000.oo adding salary and stock sale.
Your total income tax is 44,750.oo on your total income.
44,750.oo is about 27% of 165,000.oo giving you a total income tax rate of about 27%

Who is the candidate that has actually solved tough problems?

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let not this blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Now let’s discuss gravity and our friend Mr. fusion.
Take a large amount of space dust and put it all together
into a big ball. Big balls have a lot of gravity which suck
the dust very tight causing the dust to heat up.
When the dust heats up enough Mr. Fusion begins shooting
energy in all directions. Some of this energy heads over to Mr. Earth
causing global warming on Mr. Earth.
You might ask why there is so much energy that can be released
from Mr. Big ball of dust.
Well,
if there was only a small amount of energy in the dust then Mr. Fusion
wouldn't last long and our show would be over in only a few seconds.

Energy from the Sun powers life here
on Earth. This for us is a necessary use of energy.
Only a tiny fraction of the total energy released from the Sun
hits the earth. Where does the rest of the Energy go?
Powering life on Earth seems to be a good reason
for the Sun to exist. Considering that only one reason for
the Sun to exist can be determined, and that most of the
energy produced by the Sun misses our little planet,
who ever placed the Sun where it is must not be
concerned with wasting natural resources.

Man can do nothing unless he has first understood
that he must count on no one but himself;
that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite
responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one
he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he
forges for himself on this earth. --Sartre

Lets say that you are accelerating at a rate of 32 feet per sec.
In 355.2 days you would be going the speed of light.
In one year you would be going faster then the speed of light.
Right now you are accelerating at a rate of 32 feet per sec,
if you are at home.
There is no experiment that can prove otherwise.
If you are older then 355.2 days , you are breaking the
speed limit.

Someday in the future, if mankind
can build a space ship that can travel
near to the speed of light and also
protect itself with some sort of a shield,
from small pebble size particles, someone could
set out across the universe. If the current theory
of time dilation is correct, not long after you
left on your trip, another ship would come out to pick
you up and take you home to the fly threw Taco Bell
where Earth used to be.
And,
if you could somehow bend the current laws of physics
and travel in your ship at the speed of light,
it is quite possible that the length of the universe
in your direction of travel would shrink to zero,
and you would be everywhere.
